An Edgewater woman who owned a luxury car rental company was sentenced to four years in state prison after admitting she tried to collect nearly $274,000 through a staged Bentley crash, authorities said.
Bozena A. Kolc, 47, was sentenced Monday, Sept. 28, in Bergen County Superior Court, New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport and the Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor announced. Kolc was also ordered to pay approximately $314,000 in restitution for additional losses tied to the broader case, authorities said.
