Montauk Highway DWI Double: Crash Suspect, Sleeping Driver Arrested Hours Apart, Cops Say
A drunk driver was arrested following a two-car wreck on Long Island on Monday night, July 6, police said.
Alan Vasquez, 20, of Hampton Bays, was one of two drivers involved in the crash at Montauk Highway and Carter Lane in East Quogue, the Southampton Town Police Department said.
Cops responded to the scene around 8:15 p.m. Monday and determined Vasquez was drunk at the time of the crash, authorities said. Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
