Zachary Dantz Jenkins did his best to get away. His best wasn't good enough after a strange encounter at a Pennsylvania McDonald's. Hatboro Police say the trouble started on Thursday, Sept. 10, when Jenkins approached a man sitting inside a vehicle at the McDonald's on North York Road. According to investigators, Jenkins instigated a confrontation, pulled out a knife and began cutting off the man's clothing before fleeing with several associates. The incident was reported two days later, and detectives used interviews and surveillance video to identify Jenkins as the suspect, police said. …

Police are investigating what they called "outrageous behavior" after nearly 300 juveniles flooded Doylestown Borough following a Central Bucks West football game, leading to fights, an assault and a wave of other complaints. A Connecticut man who paid $500 in hopes of reaching ISIS in Syria has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison, authorities said. Ahmad Khalil Elshazly, 29, of West Haven, was sentenced to 92 months in prison on Monday, Sept. 28, in New Haven. U.S. District Judge Victor A. Bolden also ordered lifetime supervised release.
